朋友筆下的筷子基六樓

 

自言 “正期待人生第二次精神崩潰”,澳門年輕創作者 筷子基6 f6ck,日間穿梭各大樓設計冷氣管道、晚上漫遊在筷子基、觀音堂、媽閣、市政廳、三盞燈,以最簡單的鉛筆作為繪畫素材,創造出一幅幅耐人尋味、連結錯綜的超現實異想空間,還有造型奇特、三點盡露的『本我』。強烈的壓抑氣氛、死亡意識與性慾衝動溢於紙上,卻同時不乏純真反叛的童稚色彩,透過f6ck抽象與現實的詩意融合,大門信箱頓時變成了升降機,冷氣槽與馬桶排管成為『本我』急於逃離壓迫圍牆的秘密通道,只是馬桶的另一端到底是怎麼樣的世界,f6ck的想法倒沒有《迷幻列車》(Trainspotting)那麼樂觀...

 

All the while “expecting a second nervous breakdown,” the young Macau artist Fai Chi Kei 6 Andar (f6ck) spends his days shuttling across various high-rises designing air conditioner ventilator shafts. At night he roams around the small ex-Portuguese colony, stopping at places like Fai Chi Kei Housing Project, Kun Iam Tong (Temple of the Goddess of Mercy), A-Ma Temple, Leal Senado (Municipal Hall), Rotunda de Carlos da Maia, to create drawing after drawing of the most interesting, complex and surreal fantasies that superimpose actual surroundings with his shifting mental states. The id, a strange figure in full nudity with elongated parts can almost be called a caricature. An intense repressive atmosphere fills the pages; consciousness of death and libido juxtapose. Yet the visualizations are not un-childlike in their innocent rebelliousness. Through poetic fusing the abstract and the real, a mailbox on the door turns into a lift, air con ducts and toilets drains become secret passageways for the id in desperate need of escaping out of the suffocating walls. However the world is at the other end of the toilet, it does not seem as bright for f6ck as for the protagonist of Trainspotting 

關於筷子基

筷子基位於澳門半島北部,於1932年成立平民屋區,名為五二八坊,以紀念五月廿八日葡國革新紀念日。屋宇全是兩層高的建築物,沿長形石基矗立,分為兩列,形似筷子,故稱之為筷子基,當時兩傍還是海濱,並且種植馬尾松,環境幽靜,後來原建屋宇改建為六層高新大樓,成為高密度經濟房屋區,兩旁海濱也填成陸地,筷子的形狀也開始產生重大變化,對澳門城市發展產生深遠影響。

 

About Fai Chi Kei

Located at the northern part of Macau peninsula, Fai Chi Kei Quarter was constructed in 1932, then known as the “May 28th Houses” in commemoration of the Portuguese Reformation Day. The two-story buildings stand in two lines on top of rectangular foundations rather like a pair of chopsticks, hence the name in Cantonese. At the time of construction, the houses were flanked by the sea on both sides with many Chinese red pines in growth and the area was relatively quiet. Later the original houses were rebuilt six stories high, becoming a high-density cheap housing project surrounded by reclaimed land. Fai Chi Kei changed its chopstick shape as well as Macau’s urban development direction forever.
